Mowani Mountain Camp - Damaraland Strip Namibia
The thatch dome-shaped structures of Mowani Mountain Camp echi the shape of the rough-textured granite boulders amongst which they are built, creating the ambience of an African village, a theme complimented by African wood carvings and artefacts.
Mowani's main complex consists of a reception area, bar, spacious diningroom and lounge overlooking a waterhole where elephants and other animals come to drink. Guests are accommodated in 12 luxury East-African-style en-suite safari tents built on raised wooden platforms, each with a canvas veranda and splendid views over the Aba-Huab Valley.
Situated within the Twyfelfontein Conservancy, Mowani Mountain Camp is conveniently close to Twyfelfontein, the Burnt Mountain and the Organ Pipes. There is a landing strip close to the Lodge.
