Overlooking the Luangwa River, that forms the boundry with the 9000 sq. km. South Luangwa National Park, the five thatched bush chalets, each have their own bathrooms with hot and cold running water and flush toilets. His & her basins, bath and shower ensure that all the creature comforts are there, despite the fact the camp shares its environment with wildlife such as lion, elephant, wild dog, giraffe, zebra, hippo and puku to name just few. Overhead fans, walk in mosquito nets and 220 v power in each chalet adds to the ease of this African safari.
Safaris at Luangwa River Camp include game drives, guided game walks (under the guidance of an armed guide), boating on the Luangwa River, breakfasts out in the bush as well as visits to the elephant crossing hide (subject to water levels).
