Morokolo Game Lodge

If you are looking for an intimate African Safari experience, delicious meals and bush veld surroundings only 2 ½ hours away from Johannesburg you will find all of this and more at Morokolo Game Lodge. Set at the foothills of the Pilanesberg mountains Morokolo is located in the Black Rhino Game Reserve, a private concession of the malaria-free Pilanesberg National Park which plays host to all of the Big 5 animals, over 350 bird species, rare rock types and structure of the long extinct volcano, one of the largest volcanic complexes of its kind in the world, and much much more!

With 3 luxury double suites and 1 luxury family suite in each of our 2 camps guests have the opportunity to experience the peace and tranquillity of the African bush with all the home comforts of a self-service honesty bar, high tea next to the pool and delicious South African cuisine or boma braai at the reserve restaurant.  Each camp has a main entertainment area with a lounge with satellite TV, honesty bar and games area, refreshing swimming pool with comfy sun loungers as well as a heated Jacuzzi for 6.

Each fully-serviced suite is tastefully decorated and comprises a spacious bedroom and modern en-suite bathroom with double basin, shower and stone bath. All suites are air-conditioned and have a mini bar and tea station. Enjoy the views of the mountains whilst relaxing on your private patio and soaking up the unique sounds of nature. Included in your room rate is a scrumptious high tea, afternoon game drive, hearty dinner, morning game drive and continental breakfast. Snacks and bottled water are provided on the drives. Beverages are for each guest’s own account. A light lunch can also be arranged on request in advance. For an exciting and more detailed experie nce of the African bush be sure to book an additional morning walking safari too. Don’t forget your sunblock, closed shoes, a = hat and of course your camera!
