Stanley Safari Lodge

Stanley Safari Lodge offers a collection of cottages & suites for the discerning traveller. Built on a hill adjacent to the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, the Stanley Safari Lodge has excellent views of the Zambezi River and surrounding African bush. To one side one can see the plumes of spray of the Victoria Falls that rise above the forests.

The lodge boasts a swimming pool with views hard to beat and an open sided house that serves as the main area. The house is spacious and makes the best of the commanding vista the lodge offers. It has a library for guests to peruse, a dining room and a deck to enjoy the African sunshine. At Stanley Safari Lodge every effort is made for the guests to experience intimacy in its peaceful setting, and to this end private dinner tables can be set up at just about any point in and around the lodge.

Accommodation at Stanley Safari Lodge

Accommodation at the lodge consists of ten individually designed & decorated safari cottages. Each, en-suite of course have their ambience, with views of the river and sunsets a feature common to all. Four of the rooms are classified as suites that have in addition to the other rooms, a private plunge pool, a lounge area and a viewing deck or terrace.

There is also a honeymoon suite for the newly weds. The cottages & suites go by names such as Baobab Cottage, Birds Room, Mukuni and Victoria and have a strong safari theme coupled with the typical Victorian era of décor.

Activities at Stanley Safari Lodge

The activities on offer in the Livingstone - Victoria Falls area are numerous and exciting. Included in your stay at Stanley Safari Lodge is a guided tour of

the Victoria Falls (Zambian side) and a sunset boat cruise on the Zambezi River. However in addition to these other activities that can be arranged include flights over the falls,bungee jumping, elephant back safaris, canoeing trips, game drive safaris and day trips to places further afield such as Chobe National Park in Botswana, or Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe.
