The Southern Circuit is where seasoned safari travellers come to enjoy Tanzania in her most pristine form. The region is off the beaten safari track and gives visitors the opportunity to view prolific wildlife unscathed by human interaction. The game reserves in this area include the Ruaha National Park, the Rungwa Game Reserve and the Selous Game Reserve. The safari lodges and camps in this area are also varied but not as many as in the Northern Circuit. The starting point for a safari to this region is Dar es Salaam.
