6 Day Luxury Kenya Safari

Join us on this 6-Day Luxury Kenya Safari that will take you to two of Kenya’s best safari destinations, Lake Naivasha and the Masai Mara.  This safari will begin and end in Nairobi, a stay in Kenya’s capital city can be added to your safari.

Itinerary at a Glance
Day 1: Arrive in Nairobi, light aircraft transfer to Lake Naivasha, Loldia House.
Day 2: On safari at Lake Naivasha.
Day 3: Light aircraft transfer to the Masia Mara, andBeyond Bateleur Camp.
Days 4 & 5: On safari in the Masai Mara.
Day 6: Light aircraft transfer to Nairobi for departure.

 

Day 1: Arrive in Nairobi, light aircraft transfer to Lake Naivasha, Loldia House.

This morning you will be met off your international flight and transferred to the Wilson Airport.  Here the start of your Kenya safari begins, as you climb onboard your light aircraft transfer and fly to Lake Naivasha.

Upon arrival at the Loldia Airstrip, your guide will be waiting to transfer you the short distance to Loldia House on the banks of Lake Naivasha. Step into a tropical paradise as you arrive at Loldia House, with towering trees, breathtaking birdlife, and some wildlife wandering through the lodge.  Each room is furnished with all the luxury amenities you will need.  Spend some time settling into your room and exploring the grounds before heading out for an evening game drive.

Day 2: On safari at Lake Naivasha.

Today is spent on safari at Lake Naivasha, game drives are done in the Loldia Conservancy, during the day you can expect to see plenty of plains game such as zebra, antelope, giraffe, and much more, on the night drives (departing after dinner) you will get to see the nocturnal animals such as owls, bat-eared foxes, aardvark and maybe even a leopard.  You also have the option to go on a boat cruise on Lake Naivasha where you will experience the incredible birdlife – pelicans, fish eagles, kingfishers, and many more, you will also see some of the resident hippos in the lake or on the shores.  Return to camp for your meals as you relax on the deck or take a dip in the pool.

Day 3: Light aircraft transfer to the Masia Mara, andBeyond Bateleur Camp.

This morning after breakfast, you will be transferred back to the Loldia Airstrip in time for your light aircraft transfer in the Masai Mara.  Upon arrival at the Mara Airstrip, you will be met by your guide and transferred to andBeyond Bateleur Camp, this transfer will turn into a mini-game drive and your guide will explain what you can expect from game drives for the rest of your stay.

On arrival at Bateleur Camp, you will be taken on a tour of the camp and shown to your safari tent.  Equipped with everything you could need, and beautiful views out over the plains right from your private veranda. High tea will be served in the late afternoon, after which you will climb onto your safari vehicle and head out on your first official game drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve.

Return to camp in time for a delicious 3-course meal in the boma, before enjoying a nightcap around the campfire, sharing stories of your experience so far.

Days 4 & 5: On safari in the Masai Mara.

The Masai Mara National Reserve is home to the annual great migration, where thousands of wildebeest and zebra cross the Mara River into Tanzania. But the Masai Mara has so much more to offer than only the Great Migration.

Golden savannahs sprawl out in front of you as you encounter wildlife you have dreamt of, from big cats such as lions and cheetahs to buffalo and hippos to your nocturnal animals such as hyenas and jackals, to the abundance of plains game. The Masai Mara is not just about the wildlife, the scenery is that of a movie, that you never thought could be real, yet here you are, immersed in the magic that is the Masai Mara.

Day 6: Light aircraft transfer to Nairobi for departure.

With all good things, your time in Kenya is drawing to a close.  This morning after breakfast and a last morning activity (if time allows), you will be transferred back to the airstrip for your last light aircraft transfer back to Nairobi.  Upon arrival at Wilson Airport, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight.
