Previously known as the Selous Game Reserve, Nyerere National Park is situated in the southeastern region of Tanzania. This more remote park boasts unspoiled and pristine landscapes and wildlife, offering a contrast to the more well-known parks like the Serengeti and Tarangire National Parks.

While on safari, you’re likely to encounter large herds of elephants and the elusive African wild dog. You’ll also spot a diverse array of wildlife, including hippos, crocodiles, buffalo, antelopes, and much more, along with over 400 species of birds.
